Sundays – 10.00am*
Due to the pandemic, Bible Hour is currently suspended.
If you want to find out more about the Bible, then our Sunday evening Bible Hour is a good place to start.
Held every week, the Bible Hour involves an introductory presentation (approx. 40 minutes long) on a basic Bible topic.
There are presentations on a wide variety of Bible subjects given by a different speaker on each occasion. Our calendar details which topics are being covered on which date.
The aim of the Bible Hour is to build faith in the Bible, understand its positive message and how we can respond by putting its message into action in our lives.
We look at the evidence of archaeology, history, and how God’s promises have been fulfilled by events which have happened even within our own lifetime. All of this evidence gives us confidence that God’s future promises of an everlasting kingdom to fill the whole earth will be fulfilled.
On some occasions, the Bible Hour involves presentations from members of the Christadelphian community about what the Bible message means to them.
We sing from the Christadelphian Hymn Book or Praise the Lord song book and a related Bible passage is usually read before the presentation. Bibles and hymn/song books are available to borrow.
Refreshments are served at the end of the evening. The atmosphere is relaxed and people are encouraged to discuss and ask questions about what they have heard when the presentation has finished.
You are warmly invited to attend.
*Occasionally the time of the Bible Hour changes to 2.30pm, view our online calendar to check.
